Fun, Safe, and Nurturing Childcare for Children
Aged 0–5 in West Norwood

We support every child’s development and learning, recognising that each child grows in their own unique way and at their own pace. We are committed to safeguarding all children, ensuring they feel safe, valued, and free to explore and learn with confidence.

At Childbestdays, every day begins with a warm welcome for children and parents alike. Our cosy, home-from-home environment helps little ones feel safe, happy, and ready to learn through play.
Children enjoy healthy, home-cooked meals and snacks, plenty of outdoor play and local outings, and a range of child-centred activities that support their individual development.

Parents and families are central to a child’s well-being. We support this important relationship by sharing information and offering support for extending learning at home.

We place great value on our partnerships with families, fostering open, honest, and respectful communication with parents. By working closely together, we ensure each child feels supported, understood, and connected both at home and within the nursery.
We’re open Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, for 49 weeks a year, providing families with reliable and high-quality childcare.
Our services are designed to be flexible and family-friendly. Through our contracted hours approach, you only pay for the hours your child attends within our opening times, giving you the freedom to choose what works best for your family’s schedule.

Standard Childcare:
Our standard rate is £9.50 per hour, charged weekly. We also offer government-funded childcare for eligible families with children aged 9 months to school age, providing up to 30 funded hours per week for 38 weeks per year (term time only). Funded weeks vary each term depending on the academic calendar.
Any hours attended beyond the funded entitlement are charged at £9.50 per hour. We’re happy to help with eligibility, applications, and explaining how funded hours are allocated.
Check eligibility here.
We do not charge any extras, however families using funded hours must provide milk formula, nappies, and any personal consumables (e.g. creams).

We offer wrap around care, drop off and collection for children attending Julian's Primary School West Norwood site at a price of £10 per hour.
